Shoebox Raiser Success!

On November 2, our community came together to support The Shoebox Project for Women — and what an incredible day it was!

Thanks to everyone who joined us, donated items, or supported from afar, we wrapped, packed, and wrote letters for 205 women in our community. Each box was filled with care, love, and hope — a true reflection of Muskoka’s generous spirit.

A special thank-you to our local fire department and police for ensuring the community centre was safe and ready for us before the event began.

We’re so grateful to be part of such a caring, connected community.

Shoebox ‘Raiser’ Event hosted at the Port Carling Community Centre. We successfully packed 148 Shoeboxes but unfortunately ran out of boxes to pack! It was a fun and great event with many community members.
